King grew up in a world of gangs, drugs, violence, heartache, and betrayal. His father, Daddy Redd, rode the black rodeo circuit to the top of the Game, but staying on top means eliminating anyone who tries to cut in on your $tack. As Daddy Redd buries his enemies one-by-one, he’s betrayed by someone close to him, and King is left without a father.
